The Hospital Clínic Barcelona, the Salut/IA Programme of the Catalan Department of Health and the UB Chair of Precision Oncology, in collaboration with MIT Critical Data, are organising the first Hackathon on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) applied to health.
This unique event will be held from 14-16 November at the NTT Data space in Barcelona and will combine a morning of inspiring lectures with industry experts, followed by the hackathon. Over two days, multidisciplinary teams made up of health professionals, engineers, researchers and ethicists will work to solve practical challenges in the Catalan Health System.
The GenAI Health Hack aims to explore the impact of GenAI in healthcare, address ethical implications and regulatory frameworks, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations to solve key problems in the sector.
With the participation of internationally renowned experts, such as MIT Critical Data, and the support of leading organisations such as the Fundació TIC Salut Social, Món Clínic Barcelona and IDIBAPS, this event aims to become an annual event of reference to drive innovation in the health sector.
The event has the collaboration of Amazon Web Services, IDIBAPS, Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), and the sponsorship of Logicalis, NTT Data Spain and Avvale.
