As part of the Health/IA Programme, the Health Quality and Assessment Agency of Catalonia (AQuAS) will publish on November 15 the information and the bases of the consultation open to the marketto grasp the availability in the market, or the possibilities that the market can develop, of solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) to support the interpretation of chest radiographs in the field of primary care. The Health/AI Programme and AQuAS will present the main points of the consultation and resolve any queries that stakeholder organisations may have in an online session, on 19 November from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Prior registration is required.
The main benefits expected from this challenge to optimise the interpretation of chest X-ray images are:
– Increase the number of medical diagnoses with a supporting radiological report.
– Improve case and resource management.
– Reduce patient trips for unnecessary consultations.
Furthermore, the challenge also covers secondary benefits such as improving the early detection of other diseases, reducing inter-consultations with radiology specialists, and improving the patient experience.
Organisations interested in participating will have until 2 December at 10:00 a.m. to send the documentation set out in the rules, which will be published on the AQuAS profile on the Public Procurement Services Platform.
