Introduction

The objective of the consultation is to identify the market availability of AI-based solutions for support in the screening and prioritization of patients with skin injuries focusing on Primary Care within the SISCAT ecosystem in order to:

  • Enabling primary care professionals’ for the identification, diagnosis, and precise prioritization of skin potentially malignant injuries.
  • Improve collaboration between primary care and reference dermatology teams, optimizing the referral circuit for more severe cases, and thus reducing the healthcare burden.
  • Equip the health system with information and tools for its analysis and decision-making, based on the results and the consultations/interventions carried out as a result of using the technological solution.

The consultation also aims to gather specific market interest for the provision of services for the development and validation of new algorithms in this medical specialty, in conjunction with entities from SISCAT.

The consultation will allow for the collection of information to define the potential future tendering process, ensuring maximum participation of interested entities.
